Project for my final exam in college. Cooperate with Indonesian post office, I bring the theme of TRADITIONAL GAMES OF EAST JAVA to be visualized on stamp sets. I found this theme was quite unique and interesting, as we are living and growing up in town, sometimes we forget about our culture and I am afraid this culture would be missing eroded from time to time. Like nowadays, there are many many of modern games coming into our world, such as PSP, game online, u name it that could beating our traditional games. Traditional, it means they have their own history, origin and special way how to play them. Formerly people played traditional games usually for good purposes like for prosperity, safety, bring rain season, drive out evil, bring luck and health, etc.. So we need to conserving and keep playing on traditional games as a part of our culture, cos there would be no modern games without them. What I did is how to introduce, raising up and promote traditional games of East Java to public in a different way.
